Doing my first rom11's
Got a powersync unlooper using a 232 cable to usb and it's set as comport12.
Sidewinder will not recognise it!!! when i run winexplorer 5.42 i get

Sc.Read: Timeout Reading Data From Card - 2 Bytes Requested, 0 Bytes Read, Continuing Script

Script Error on Line 33
Sc.GetByte: Requested Byte Exceeds Last Read Request

I think I need to set the pot but I can't find how to do this!!

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

RS232 to USB won't work. You need to use a straight through 9-pin serial lead.

yes m8 he's right i use powersync & i ues r232 cable straight to comm port 1 ..& it works o.k

My Powersync works perfectly with a usb-RS232 converter , i use the converter on my laptop ( Vista Ultimate 64 ) , also works well with libby and eurovox's Just got to set the com port to com 1

Have you checked what port the USB to Serial is assigned to in Device Manager?
