Hey all, tis only I! Have started using my Trekstor HDD and the first time I set the recording feature using the epg it worked okay, stopped recording when the programme finished etc. However, on the last two occasions when I have set it to record films at 10 in the evening using the epg, when I have come down in the morning, it is still recording : < so I have two films to watch but over 18hrs of recording! Anyone else experienced this/know what to do. The only thing I can think would be to reformat the HDD but don't really see how that would stop it. Am on V1.07. Any help gratefully received. Ta

There is a bug with the EPG usually it is blank around the 11PM mark on most if not all channels. So if you are recording during that period, (which you seem to be), that may well be why you are experiencing this.

Cheers Satsmo. I will have to try it through the day and see how that goes. It's not a biggie but it's just annoying as it won't take me too long to fill the HDD up at that rate and I wanted to get a library of films etc! Ooo and I discovered that you cannot change the file names. Even though the function is there, it won't save. Or is that just mine...? Top Gun tonight, rock on!!

There is a later firmware release V1.09 but its only for Ireland. Improves it to the point of updating, channel categories are also sorted. But if you are in the UK then 1.07 is all you got for now.
