Default loading keys on tm9100s

hi friends

trying to find and then load keys onto tm9100s for digi on thor

can anyone point me to a dummies guide how to send keys to box etc

It sounds like you could do with the Hacksat Key updater mate

It would be useful if you let us know which image and which EMU you are using

I find the easier way is to download the latest dreambox key file from a site that has them then send the files over via dcc to var/keys and var/scce, restart your cam via blue button after this and the picture should clear. After this you only have to update the softcam.cfg file. You can update the keys manually as well this way by editing the softcam file. By doing this you know if the keys are up to date.

cheers lads i'm using ur18 with cccam 2.0.11,i also have hacksatv9 installed on the box,gonna try ki's way to see if i can clear them.

got the dbox key file downloaded ki but i cant find any var/keys or var/scce in dcc ftp ection,as usual i have a picture............lol

he said var mate which is root of disk /var/keys/ or /var/scce is VAR empty i can see it
no idea about sat but know a bit of linux

Right hand screen you have dreamboxkeys.rar you need to unzip them and you should be left with with a file showing var only. Within that var folder are two further folders called key and scce. They need to be sent across to var/key and var/scce. As danielle as said about you are in the root directory. You need to click on var folder and that will take you into another screen.

i done that but nothing cleared and the folder is dated 11 nov 08,would these keys be out of date.

Yes there is your problem the last key change was 31-12-08. You need an up to date dreambox key file.
