Looks great on paper.
Is this an official freesat pvr or a FTA pvr,as these days often FTA receivers/pvrs are being incorrectly labelled as freesat?

Doesn't Panasonic have Freesat tuners in their TVs, so would suspect it is the genuine article.

i read posts elsewhere that a member with
a panasonic freesat tv connected his dish to
the set and scanned thor 1w in and the diablo
opened the conax and nagra chns when used in the tv ci slot
so it looks like it can be used for any sat with any old
sat receiver to move the dish

The downside to the Panasonic Freesat Tv's are that they not Diseqc compatible.
So only one fixed satellite, meaning no multi-lnb setups can be connected to the tv's.
