The cable services provider Virgin Media had a difficult last quarter, with new customer sign ups dropping by a massive forty per cent.This news comes as the company posted losses of £50 million for the same quarter, which it said was due to the fact that it only managed to attract 14,800 new customers compared [...]

Yeah, also they need to put more HD channels on their line up too.....

I see Sly HD boxes advertised everywhere for £49

Think this is a main reason for the lack of new subribers!

Their broadband is far superior to anything sky have to offer,its just the lack of HD content thats turning people away,with peeps unable to get the most out of their ridiculously expensive LCD/Plasma's

Very true indeed however when i myself signed up with United Artists/Telewest/Virgin way back....it was for the full Package ie TV,Phone....
Sky @ the time i thinck had issues with Quality of their picture....some one correct me if i,m wrong...
Seems to me VM got lost on how to Sell T.V. and see BBand as the way forward.....
