Magic Cam help please

I’ve bought a very cheap Magic Cam just to use for a Gamma Card rather than use my Diablo.

I use a CAS3+ with software studio 8.6c, to begin I loaded the software inserted the cam, erased all the data and loaded penta 120.bin
Inserted into receiver and it does not work, CI slot says Initialising/Not inserted over and over.

Next I inserted the cam, started software, erased all the data and ran xinilx file for magic cam then loaded penta 120.bin
Inserted cam into receiver and still it does not work, CI slot says Initialising/Not inserted over and over.

Is there anything I am missing, or are there other files I could try. All I need it to do is read and irdeto encryption. Is it possible this has been converted to a Matrix Cam, but in running the Magic xinilx file would this not have reverted back to Magic??

Try inserting a card, my old Magic Cam kept initialising until I inserted a programmed fun card then it worked.

Inserted Gamma card but still doing the initialising/not connected thing?

I loaded a dreamboot.bin file to the cam, put it in the CI slot and the receiver says DREAMLOAD, so it is able to read the cam. Next I loaded penta120.bin again and in the receiver it then starts initialising/not connected all over again. Any ideas?

Think it's sorted now, the receiver is now saying penta1.20 is inserted.
I had to follow the below 'exactly' as described

Install the latest CAS Studio and start the program, then press connect

Press ERASE ALL, when prompted select yes.

The next step is to program the Dreamload.bin. In CAS Select LOAD FILE

Now the file is loaded, Press WRITE.

Now press VERIFY to make sure all went well in this 1st step.

click advanced
Important: In the START Address change it to 10000, go back to normal model then Select OPEN FILE

Now load the latest penta. file
click advanced
As you can see the END address adjusted correctly once the file is loaded

go back to normal mode
Once again press WRITE

After Writing has completed, Press VERIFY.

Last step is to load and write the Xilinx File, Select Xilinx and open the MAGIC.CAS file.

No need to press WRITE as it will start the process automatically. All that’s left is to EXIT the program disconnect the USB lead, remove CAM and away you go..

once loaded it will show DREAM LOADER on reciever

SWITCH OFF
then
SWITCH ON
