It could be the change in tftp ip and config files. Depending on where you live VM have changed stuff so slot of people modems went down. Mine did last week.

It depends what area you are in. If you are in an area that VM changed the tftp ip servers then you would need to change the tftp ip and config files. Guessing you are running infinite firmware then you need to use the config tool to change these.
if you are not in an area where VM have changed the tftp then it could just be a bad mac in which case still needs config tool to change. |

Config tool will be available in the download section of the forum. Once you download it connect via Ethernet and a password and username should be in it by default if it's the wrong login the guy who flashed your modem changed it. This would mean connecting via rs232 and bypassing the login.

Rather stupidly, I have forgotten the username/password I inputted when flashing my 250. With the console exploit tool, could i bypass the login so I could put the new TFTP and config filenames?
My flashed 250 stopped working today, and hopefully I can get it up and running by the weekend.

Will the console exploit tool ONLY remove the username/password, as I've got a working /mac in there, i just want to put in the new TFTP and config files? Basically, will it "delete" the firmware I've flashed, or reset any settings I've entered?
