Default Putting XP on a Mac. Virtually (merge the 2 OSes)

It's the first time I have come to this section, but am a great fan of my Macs.

2 ways to do this,

Bootcamp: as you have said,
VMware Fusion.

VMware creates a virtual machine INSIDE OS X. check out some youtube clips on VMware fusion unity mode (running the 2 OS's together, merged) Unity mode lets you run your windows software on your Mac install AND use your Mac software too, side by side!

However, for high quality gaming: don't go for VMware. Go bootcamp.

Hope this helps,

Ian

I put it on using boot camp. It is very straightforward as long as you follow the guide exactly.

It was at the top of the Mac section list and I didn't look at the date.

This Mac section is empty, must be the lack of OS X problems.
if we go over to the windows side, I bet there's thousands of posts;

"I have viruses" or
"Why does my machine keep crashing"

I have to start helping out more around here, instead of just asking questions about cable
