Hi guys, i have just purchased a Pioneer DVR 116D DVDRW and for some reason it cant see blank media , it has no issues with written media....anybody any ideas ?

dont know about ur prob m8 wat kind of disc are u using, iv just put a pioneer 111 in my new sys , do u have to set anything in the bois after u have put them in because .........when i boot up now i get a ....message saying ............looking/booting from cd-r records ??? iv just toook a cd-r out & put a dvd-re in ?

IM NOT SURE BUT IN THE BOIS , HAVENT WE GOT TO SET THE MAIN DRIVE AS THE MASTER?
