Default Dodgy Posts and Links

Can anyone tell me how we can stop the dodgy links and posts that seem to be cropping up regurlary now! Three in 5 mins seems excessive.

Most are either promoting porn or dodgy shops

I think Brian needs to do some tweaking behind the scenes, as these seem to have got a lot worse lately. As always, if people report them or the mods see them, they will get deleted ASAP.

If you wondering where mr Xbox has gone i've binned his posts as they were obvious post clocking.

I've told him to pack it in, i'm just waiting for a reply now

Unfortunately Russian spammers cracked vbulletin's more recent security settings, so there's a huge amount of bot activity going on at present directly attacking vbulletin forums an trying to insert a whole range of spam into them.

I've given the settings a tweak, but this is something I'll be taking up directly with vbulletin as the overall security settings need sorting out in the software.

Noticed a lot of spam posts this week especially on southernsatellites threads. They must of taken a liking. They seem to come in early on a morning when most of you are still sleeping. I log in most mornings around 6.30am and there been a number. This is not the only forum that is being hit unfortunatly though.
