Hi
My friend wants to purchase a cable box. Can anyone let me know which box is better and cheaper among these three StarView, Dbox or Eurovox. Personally, I am using Euro-vox and is pretty happy with it so far. Please advice. Best Regards A |

Like the eurovox, good support also the krptview seems a good choice, would not touch a starview think they are too much hard wrork when they need new firmware.

i started with a Dbox then went over to dbox2 had me dbox 2 since they came out great support and sites with spair parts, haven't found any issues with them what so ever in all the years i have used them. That would be my choice haven't used any others but i heard the dreams were on same par as dbox so I would suggest pick one of those 2.

i think you need to decide what functionallity you are looking for from your box prior to making the decision. i have had most makes, starview, evox, kryptview, all a doddle to set up
also had a nokia dbox, not too bad to image, as mentioned plenty of forums about, on how to, but more complicated than the above currently using a evox 7000HD in lounge, top box, and a s\view 4 in the bedroom. both can be updated via USB memory stick, so no null cables needed as i said think about whay YOU want out of the box, PVR, HD, ease of set up etc, then an informative decision can be made just let us know, we'll all help best we can regards |

I have/have had starviews, euro's and krypts. IMO Kryptview is the best/easiest/most reliable.
Have a look at how many post are in each of the respective forums - not many in the Krypty section because not many problems! |
