Hi
My friend wants to purchase a cable box. Can anyone let me know which box is better and cheaper among these three StarView, Dbox or Eurovox. Personally, I am using Euro-vox and is pretty happy with it so far. Please advice. Best Regards A |

Depends exactly what he wants from it.Does he want record facilities or not?
I've got euro 5100(recording facilities),sv3 and kryptiew A700. Personally i find they're all pretty much the same although slighty different ways of putting software on .SV and kryptview very easy to use,EURO slightly more techo.Cost wise and support i'd take a look at the new kryptview A750. ![]() Dbox no idea.Sorry PS you should maybe have put yer question in general cable chat. Some of the peeps get a little hot under the collar when you post same question more than once in other threads

As Mark says, Depends exactly what you want it for, ie, recording etc!! I have had most of the boxes that are out just now, and can say that I personaly think the Eurovox and Arnet are hard to beat, starview has been not too bad but the updates are harder to come by now

I think Kryptview have brought out their new cable box-due to release March-ish time and they're meant to be good. I my self prefer linux boxes
