hi i got hold of 2 boxes the other day for nowt both have been modded by the looks of it bk and ird written down and mosc cards. but wen i try to power them up they both com up with same error it says NTL on the box screen and on tv its a black screen iv tried everything from force booting to pulling jumper but they dont wana know checked net id and freq and they are fine and of my area.
the boxes are Pace 4001N and 4010.

have they been updated? ie on virgin software?

I expect it says NIT not NTL. Check signal details in the engineers menu.

just says NTL and its stays on that no matter wat i do. signal is good.

Can't remember ever seeing NTL on the led panel of either of those boxes during boot

Hi...what boxes are they...ie pace 1000,1000 1b,2000,4000,4001,4010 or sammy 2100 2110 or the V+ box.....

he said he's got a 4001N and 4010. I've only got exp of pure ntl but i'm thinking board doesn't match the chassis maybe?

Hi...opps missed that bit.lol...in that case it will be stuck in nit mode...maybe net-id is not right......or turner probs....not much help i know....think i stick to unloopers......

Hi can sum one help with this one !! got a sammy 2100c on 3.5b do i need to upgrade it to 3.6v ? i did try it by holding down standby left right & ok but now when the box boots it just goes to ld 20 30 40 then the display goes blank !! the net id has reset as normal help !!!!
