Question Resetting Net ID for funcard

Hi guys!

I've pulled the red jumper in order to reset the net ID on my pace 4000. However, this does not seem to be wroking as the net ID is 22510 instead of the default 09999. The PIN however, has been reset to 0000, so why is the net ID not being reset?

What am I doing wrong guys???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

kimi.

this somtimes happens with pace box's dont worry just make your net id funcard and that will change the net id to what you need. also you could use libby with the 4000

Thanks for the reply mate. Does this mean that it's not essential for the net ID to be reset to 09999? The thing is, I've done my net ID fun for a TW area (I'm in a pure) and I'm going to send the STB to my mate who is in a TW area. Does that mean everything will be good to go? i.e. if he powers on the box, accesses the engineers menu and sticks in the funcard? Will the box reboot and start working as long as I've programmed the card ok?

Thanks in advance!

Yes mate that will be fine as stated earlier that seems to be quite a common problem on pace boxe's ive seen it a few times even though the net id restets itself to a random number it will still set fine.

Regards
