funny thing is mate, ( cheers for the post btw )

if every thing is up and connected, pc serves net ok, so does the ps3 with out no hick ups...

so i have reset to a new mac, this one is not knocking me off every 5 mins...
Will report back later as not gone via router yet on new mac for the laptop

i think to be honest its the mac maker on my lan on my laptop screwing up?

you dont need to change mac on laptop if you are running through a router, only routers mac would need changing

werid, as i have used infite for 3 months and never had this issule...

Im guessing on hax, do you have to put the mac of a router in it at all?
But then you got to think, hold on, ps3 and pc is working, why not the vista laptop?

its nothing to do with modem and if ps3 and pc working, its something to do with laptop...

id try reseting mac address back to default on the laptop as its only the routers mac that makes any difference anyway.
