Hi,
I got a Pace bskyb 2500 sky digibox which powers up but doesn't find a signal. It stays on the screen where it says no satellite signal is being recieved. I waited about 30 minutes but still no signal. I checked in the signal test menu and it finds the Network ID and Transport Stream but the signal strength and quality is nothing and also the lock indicator status is not locked. I also checked the LNB setup and set the LO and HI frequency to the correct setting. I had a look inside the box and didn't find any burnt capacitors. I also had a look at the tuner but couldn't see anything burnt. I attached a friends panasonic sky digibox and that found the signal straight away. Do you know what's wrong with the box?

Common fault seen on those is signal/strength but no network id/stream.

Is there a way to repair the box?

Its cheaper just to get a replacement off ebay

You will just then need to ring Sky to get the card paired to the new box
