Default Subbed Modem not working.

Right basically came home today from college today and found that both my internets wern't working.
My subbed modem and cloned. But i eventually got my Cloned modem working (Well intermintantly). The subbed modem just keeps going round and round all the time rebooting. No idea why though.

Right rung up Virgin and they said their going to send round an engineer on Friday. They had a space for Tommorow but i had to decline until Friday for other reasons.

I am obviously going to disconnect my "other" devices. But what should i be clear of? Should i disconnect my other coax cables so i basically have just one to the modem as thats all i pay for.
Think i should move my backup dvds and xbox games?

Thanks
