Dodgy obviously, and overpriced.

A sky minidish and a cheap Linux machine with a an internet connection would cost a lot less than that.

However a proper subscription and box for Sky italia would cost a LOT more than that.

Yup - well dodgy and well overpriced.

Using a bottom of the range Linux clone receiver and getting a zone 2 minidish you would get plenty of change from 200 quid. Then you need to obtain a card share

A pukka subscription is getting on for a thousand quid a year if you use one of the uk based resellers

Before you go down the Linux route ask yourself a question:

Are you willing to spend many many frustrating hours learning how to get the best out of a linux box?

If not dont even think about one, because you certainly wont be taking it out of the box and getting Sky Italia sports on it - theres a lot of reconfiguring to do.

Ive had my DB7020 2 years now, and I still learn new tricks with it even now.
