Eurovox ex7000

Hi can anyone help have just got eurovox 7000 have about 40 channels in just there mort coming up scrambled channel how do i unscramble these was told box would do automatically? anyone help

what firmware version are you using, if anything but 22-1-09, download, and install 22-1-09 FW from toolbar, unzip to root of a FAT32 usb pen drive, switch box off at back, insert pen drive, switch on, box will autoupdate, (says extracting on box), do a full power scan, not a fast scan, thats it....

i thought certain eurovox models didnt work in ireland anymore? or does this one work?

ireland currently being switched to our (english) cable set up, rather than from there ariels

Excuse the ignorance how do u mean firmware version do i get this on computer or internet? do i download it to computer and save on to memorystick?

Not Sure how can i find out? i installed nothing so far got a scandisk memorystick few bits on it?

power box on, select menu, select TV, then sys info

reply with software, and firmware version

I've done this all info coming up under system info:

model: EUROVOX EX 7000 HD
H/W Version: V1100004000101
S/W Version V01.01-00
Last Update Jan 14 2009

is this of help? cant see anything saying firmware?

ok this helps. from the chatterbox files&fixes section download the file for 22-1-2009, unzip it, copy to root of usb memory stick, (clear any files off it first, (back up to your pc, so as not deleted))

power off box, insert usb into back of box, switch box on, update will auto extract, once done, do a full power scann, NOT a quick scan, should be ok
