Post modem not working

hi all

my freinds modem stop working when i tried to look at it i could not get to 192.168.100.10 so i tried to open through 250 confiq for some reason it as been set to 162.168.100.10. also the passwords have been changed.

the question i wanted to ask is can i change this from infinite to haxoware with out user name and password using max 232 cable.
