Post from infinite to haxoware

hi all

when flashing from infinite to haxoware do i need origanal dump?????

the problem is i brought this of ebay and i dont have the origanal dump,is there anyway round this

if you have infinite on the modem then you should have the `p` option,that is unless it has taken the `Alex` update whereas you will need to unlock it with the `console unlocker`

Well all i get is scanning channels no p option was going to try Haxoware but i dunno whats better infinite or hax..

What i did to upgrade was use softjag and the bootloader console unlocker came with..

How did you upgrade if you didn't get the p option?
You're either not looking in hypertrm / putty as soon as the modem boots, or you're connecting via tcp/ip rather than rs232.

Haxorware is the better choice.

New Haxorware is a cracking dump ovr ye ol infinite, (brill tut by Bad_Ad84 2 be found on overwriting infinite with an easy search) but good thing I like bout infinite is that u can lock it with telnet user/pass which is needed with Ambit Cfg..already had 2 ppl watch me when settin their SB5s up 2 think they were smart+goin inside 2 have a mess around aftr id left!! lol..just wish haxorware had an optional user/pass function, but other than that its fine..

Don't have my 250 to hand to test but I believe you can still change the UID: pass from command line edit: (in haxorware)
