cant connect to internet virgin

i need some help i cant connect too the internet all i get is network cable is unplugged but its not, i was using hot shield too use tvants and it crashed also with my firewall sygate personal firewall, now i cant connect too the internet, the only way i can is through safe mode, too type this message

so it must be a setting thing can someone please help me out,

turn of firewall and try
if works then you may of blocked the net on it

if says your cable is not connect, then there is a issule, did u swop from one pc to another, or pc to laptop? without re booting the modem?

also go to lan settings, make sure is on auto dns etc

loads of things mate we need to know
