right ive finally got everything setup (not 100% mind) but i have a problem with bbc hd

when i put it on the picture is fine but the sound is just like a really bad crackling sound on the dolby digital and i don't know what the prob is all my drivers for sound devices are working as thy should

if i change the sound in the menu whilst on the channel to the normal not dolby sound the sound works but the picture is screwed ive had that channel working 100% before my fresh install o any ideas guys

i have the vista codec pack installed as well if that helps and i have the nvidia decoder set in the MD utility

Could be a issue with your Codec pack, I use K-lite Full, had issues with the Vista one.

What program are you using btw? ProgDVB, VMC etc?

i havent tried it in the dtv viewer yet to see if the prob is just vmc related but i think its a general thing and not just a vmc issue

i did have the k-lite pack before the full re-install so i might give that a whirl later got nothing to lose i suppose

quick update:

still no joy tried the k-lite full pack but still have the problem
