my surfboard 5101 on infinite firmware has gone offline , now says 00 ** de ad ** at the mac address, also cant access with amchobit, am i now gona have to reflash with blackcat, got it off a vendor so dont a a dump to restore. any help please.

nar i had this, just change mac m8, something to do with the software you using

hmm, not so sure that is all thats wrong, cant use ambochit to change mac vie network and now, have even tried jtag and ambochit cant access modem, can log onto via explorer, any other way of changing mac ?. thks

my jtag lead was for a ambit, didnt realise was diff for sb's, a little rearange and hey presto , thks for help,
