Help configuring ambit 200 modem

hi i have just recieved my ambit 200 and need help configuring it (ie putting in a new mac) i do not know how to do this but if anybody could help it would be much appreciated

need to know which area you are in. i.e ex tw/ntl or c&w.

you need to configure freq first, mac address and such is easy enough from the gui (http://192.168.100.1:666)

i am in an ex tw area i have got the gui screen up how do i change the frequency

freq is via telnet.

but on thr 192.168.100.1 page, see if its starting to sync or not. should give you a progress page

so should i just type in my frequency on the 192.168.100.1 page save and reboot my modem then go to 192.168.100.1:666 and change the mac

sorry mate can you tell me step by step on how to do this modem please

goto 192.168.100.1 and you should see a progress page... saying syncing downstream etc.

post back with what you are getting there.

hi bad ad it says in progress and the cable modem says offline
