Hello,
I have a Dreambox clone, and it is configured to cable from its previous owner. How do I reconfigure it to support satellite services?
It is not sending any voltage to the LNB, how do I rectify this?
Any help is much appreciated.

You will need to change the tuner in it & flash it with a sat image. If its not a plug n play tuner stick it on ebay and buy a 500s

If its a DM600 PVR you can just buy a new tuner and replace the software on it

Its a DM500s clone. How do you change the tuner in it, and how will I know if it is Plug and Play? Thanks again.

Unplug it from everthing. Take the top off. It will be obvious if its p-n-p

Hi again, how do you mean it will be obvious? Because if I take off the top of it, it will void the warranty.

DM500's have soldered in tuners, they are not what you could class as plug and play. The tuners aren't available as far as i am aware.

You will need to sell it and get another with the correct type of tuner installed

The only enigma 1 Dreambox which has a tuner you can swap and change is the DM600PVR
