Default Questions galore

Hi guys and gals.
I have a few questions if anyone can help please.

1) What exactly is ROM 10 and ROM 11?
2) How can i tell if my card/area uses ROM 10 or ROM 11
3) When programming a card, i use toxic to enter the bk, ird and then i enter the keys. From what i just read in the forums i only have to manually enter the keys when the AU (flash file) is no longer current. I need to enter bk and ird ONLY when the AU file is an upto date file. Is this correct?
4) Is there a list of N*L 'error' codes anywhere that i can view/download so i can understand what my box is telling me when i get various error codes.
Has there been an keyroll in the last few days as i am struggling to get my pace box on pure N*L working properly?
5) I am having a problem getting sky sports 1 and sky sports 3 channels but sky sports 2 is working fine! A few other channels are down too but other channels that need a programmed card work fine. Anyone else having this problem??

If anyone would shed some light on these questions for me i would be very grateful

1) What exactly is ROM 10 and ROM 11? Osc cards provided by cc to watch cable.
2) How can i tell if my card/area uses ROM 10 or ROM 11 Look on back of card should say something like 010xxxx to determine rom10 or 011xxxx for ro11, this is near barcode.

Is this correct? If usng latest AU flash put in caid relevant to your area ird and bk and for the keys put all zero`s.
4) Is there a list of N*L 'error' codes anywhere that i can view/download so i can understand what my box is telling me when i get various error codes. There is but not got it on this lappie at moment.
Has there been an keyroll in the last few days as i am struggling to get my pace box on pure N*L working properly? Probably I think there was one 3 days ago.
5) I am having a problem getting sky sports 1 and sky sports 3 channels but sky sports 2 is working fine! A few other channels are down too but other channels that need a programmed card work fine. Anyone else having this problem?? What box, maybe sig issues check cable.

1) Ah you mean like the white N*L cards that come with the original sub box yes?

2) Yea, i see that now thank you

3) Cool, will do it that way from now on ta

4) If you could post me the list on here or better still in the FTA downloads section for everyone to download that would be great

5) Box is a Pace box. Model is a 4100 i beleive. Was workign fine until we had the electrics tested when everything had to be unplugged and then plugged back in as a safety test.
Since then i have had this problem

Hi

No probs m8 there is a typo it should say camid relevent to your area starting with 1st 2 digits for your area and make rest up pure 24 excw 27 and tw 2c I think. Eg for pure 24 ** ** ** make it up combo of numbers and letters.

Also make sure you use rom10 image relevent to your area for a rom 10 card and a rom11 image for a rom11 card.

Error codes list Im sure should be in downloads allready or if you do a search for error codes Im sure you should find some previous posts covering that if no luck give me a shout and I`l try and upload.

4001 are funny/temperemental boxes and considering you seem to have unplugged everything I would check all connections to make sure they`re good.

Regards
