i have successfully installed ten pin header and flashed my sb5101e with jtag using haxorware 1.1 v30. i am brand new to this and dont know if i have done the easy bit or the hard bit. i have been reading forums for two weeks and still cannot figure out where to put mac config file etc. i am very new so go easy on me. i have read most tuts think i need someones time to help me through it
any advice/guidance will be appreciated

sorry if i misguided you, i can see the config 192.168 and have it set up like badAd84 says, i am using my own mac but still cannot connect to internet. telnet says something about dhcp i dont really know if i am using it all correctly as it is my first time ever with moded modems, so if someone can understand my dumbass babble please help me out.

Acquire Downstream Channel Done, Obtain Upstream Parameters, Done. Upstream Ranging, Done. Establish IP Connectivity, Done. Retrieve Time of Day, In Progress. Negotiate security, Waiting. Receive configuration, Waiting. Register connection, Waiting. Cable modem status IP Complete HFC Parameters
Mode Static IP Address 10.xx.xx.xxx Subnet 255.255.255.0
TFTP Server 10.xx.xx.xxx TFTP Filename CM-xxxxx-xxx ToD Server 10.xx.xx.xxx
unsure about highlighted area, any help guys for this total newbie

are you forcing a config? its hanging on getting time of day

Thanks badad, not really sure to be honest, first attempt. good work by the way. got me this far. any way. force static ip is ticked, force network access is ticked but i have also tried them unticked aswell. i am running modems from one feed via two way splitter with original modem do you think that this could be the problem.
hope this makes sense.

why are you forcing static ip? thats your problem.

you are ticking random stuff not in the guide.

I think u need to follow this tutorial that BAD created, take ur time just make sure u follow it word by word.

pretty sure i have mate keeps coming up with same error it will sync but i cannot connect to internet
