January and February 2009 as now passed and this was the last scare threads that they were all being zapped.

All boxes are still on, so what happened to these so called insiders of VM who were saying on the threads that all boxes would be useless after February 2009 (new cards being issued in Ireland etc) whats the next load of scaremongering comin' out by these so called (gossipers who have mates and family working for VM) these people who put this on the threads are nothing but stupid Prick Heads.
Just wanted to get this one off my chest and hopefully the Admin will remove all the next scare threads from these VM in the know from this brilliant site and bar these Prick Head's who keep posting these unfounded rumors.

Can I ask this question please cos it's something I'm not sure about and curious to know, OK this is my question, when VM do these hits in April & November, why do they do it when they know full well that within 2-3 days that someone will just hack the new codes and then put the new FW on the sites, so basicly does it cost them lots of money when they do this, if so why bother doing it when they must know that new FW will be out days after and all boxes up and running again!!!!!!!

not everyone is able to fix their own box though mate or they may find it hard to get someone to fix it for them,even then it will cost them a few quid to get it up & running again. Im sure allot of people get fed up putting codes in(Even if its only for a few days) or having to pay someone to get it going again(Even if only twice a year),for this reason allot of peps probably just decide to pay a full sub.

Yea that's a good enough reason Roco, cos to be honest if I wasn't in the know on getting the fw, then yeah I'd get fed up of keep paying people to do my box as well and would most likely subscribe.

New cards are being issued in Ireland. My dad, in Dublin, got a new one from upc yesterday. I'd say we'll know pretty soon what's in store. I'll keep you posted.
