Default BEEPER NOT working

Hi,

I just got this beeper to trying and realign my dish which is correctly not picking up 16E.

I have read the manual but it dont make much sense, what am i doing wrong?

Any help will be approached.

These beepers are next to useless- sorry. You need to get your compass out and workout where the satellite is depending on your location & use a site like dishpointer.com to help you.

Thank you Sir, I must say i agree completely as the beeper doesnt give much information.

I have been to the site and it seems really useful i will definately bookmark, can you recommend a useful compass preferable not too expensive.

Just take a trip to Mallets they do cheap compasses

You don't need a compass. It's OK to get a rough direction, but adjustment for best signal is the only way to get a dish right.

Wait till its not raining and take your receiver and telly outside, adjust it using that if you have to.
