Hi all,
I want to try a new CDF file out on my Eurovox to see if it mirrors my TiVo's channel list. I have the CDF file and the Voxer software - how do I do it please? Also - Should I take a backup of my existing CDF file, and if so - how please? many thanks. |

yes save your own cdf file first as a back up.
to upload your file to the PC connect your box to PC with null modem cable run voxer and click on utilities click on receive service file and then follow the prompts to download a file to your box click on file and select open cdf file browse to the file and click on open, this loads it to voxer click on utilities and select send service file, follow on screen prompts. you can also use the Unified Flash Loader to upload and download cdf files. |

to get into downloads section click on Mark Forums Read in the 2nd forum (UK Cable) click on the Private FTA forum then first thread some download links, what you want is in the Eurovox link copy and paste address in to your browser then download required files. Yes a cdf file is a list of all the channels and frequencies and are specific to the area you are in. |

Hi Im new to this site and eurovoxs and other satellite receivers etc.
Im sorry to type a question on someone elses thread but im unaware of how to make my own thread, hope you dont mind. Anyway, the thing is I'm going to buy a eurovox, which is the EX1000SL for £84.99. I have virgin broadband internet here and just need to know if all i need to do is unplug the internet cable from the virgin socket in the wall, put in a splitter and connect the internet to one side and the eurovox to the other side. And should this definately ensure me of the sky sports and setanta sports and the other channels on sky etc? And do I need to add a firmware straight out the box or should it work straight out as I'm not confident I'll be able to update the firmware. Is this box a good choice as i don't have much cash which is also why i need to know this is going to work. Please respond if you know the answer as I dont want to sound thick to all this but I am to be honest LOL. If you could hit me back on my email if possible at chrisjevo8@ hotmail.co.uk that would be great. Otherwise in this thread would be great thanks. |

The ex1000 is a decent choice but my personal recommenation would be the new Kryptview a750 with its supperior picture quality, true 16:9 ratio and no need to arrange channels! I would also recommend lincsat as your supplier Lincsat's Nick-nacks (Shop) as theres rumour the ex1000 has now been cloned |
