Default Khan fight this Saturday on Sky box office events channel on a modded box???

Hi,
I have a modified telewest cable box (pace 4000 i think) . When you go to channel "0" it comes up with "live events channel" with an ad for Saturday nights Khan v Barrera fight.
Does anyone know if i'll be able to view the fight on this channel?

My mate has a Dbox and he can get the ppv boxing matches on it no problem but i've been told you cannot view it on a modded Telewest box.

Also, what are your predictions for the fight???

Cheers in advance!

Yes and no. Yes if you have talkback enabled (very bad idea, you will most likely get caught). No because you need talkback enabled to view On Demand and I have already told you what will happen if you have it enabled.

Hi

As Blakey has said, you wont get the fight on a modded cc box unless you had talkback enabled which is a no no.

Most 3rd party boxes will get the fight but sometimes that I think depends if someone in the area orders the fight but not 100% if thats the way it operates.

Regards

PPV is available on DBox, I know this because when I had one, I used to watch all the late night wrestling and boxing when they were on. I could also watch Box Office movies too.

It was a DBox2. I think it works like this, somebody in your area orders the program and the DBox "feeds" onto it and allows you to view the same thing but without getting charged. The channel the Khan fight was on was SBO_PPV (which stands for Sky Box Office - Pay Per View).

i c kind of like the eurovox really, does this also go for sky box office movies or is it filmflex where you can choose any film to view instead of feeding to someone else in your area, also whats the best image to have on the dbox 2. cheers m8

I used to be able to get those movies but I don't think they show anymore. I bought mine when it was NTHell but since Vermin took over, they have been taken off I think. I use the Laky Pro image because it's got an Auto Update fix built in .
