Default Newbie needs help with Surfboard 5100i

Hi

I am in the Edinburgh area, and have purchased a Scientific Atlanta 2100 and a
surfboard 5100i from a third party whom i can no longer get in touch with.

The modems were working fine until Sunday of this week when they both went down on the same day.

I have heard that I can reconfigure them both via IE and editing the modem firmware from there by changing some settings (the tftip address I think).

I can access the modem via 192.168.100.1 but am unable to change any settings so I am assuming there is another page that I should go into.

The firmware on the modem is Infinite.

Can someone please help I am in desperate need to get this sorted

sorry i believe it is the mac address i need to change - I have
a working mac at the moment - 20mb.
