Default thinking of flashing my blue zeta

im thinking of flashing my blue zeta cam whick currently has the joker 0.79 firmware on it, to the joker 0.80 firmware because im getting the service is encrypted message on a lot of channels and some which i would watch alot ie sky sports 3

i dont have a cas 3 so was goint to try the funcard5 way

does anybody have a step by step guide of how to do this and also where to pich up the files needed for the update

i have read somewhere that it is best done from the common interface.exe prog in the floppydtv's folder but would like to know exactly how to do it before i attempt it

Not entirely sure this works with joker firmware but here is a start for you

you'll need a card programmer and the required files (firmware and a camloader file).

It isn't really that hard. You program the funcard5 (camloader file is your flash, firmware is your ext.eeprom). Ensure your commoninterface.exe is running and pop the funcard in, it'll automatically prompt you. Just follow the instructions. It will ask you to reset the card, just pull the firewire out and put it back in.
