Hi. I'm thinking of switching over to the dark side and buying myself a cable box but i'm torn between itgate 220, ex7000, ex5100 and eurovox ultra. the technotrend dvb-c card also is in consideration since i have my pc connected to my lcd.
The ultra is way down my list because of possible custom duties that might be added to the total cost. The thing that is important is being able to record/pause and epg. I'm not an expert but i'm not stupid therefore i can handle updates and configuration changes as long as there are instructions that i can use. Cost is also an issue but only because eventually i want to upgrade to a twin tuner box therefore if i can limit the cost down then the better. The frontrunner is the ex7000 only because of the possible upscaling that it can do although some people say that the tv would automatically upscale the content being fed into it. So in short, i would appreciate it very much if anyone can help me weigh the pros and cons of each option.
