Hi all
My modem was on its last legs (Infinite) so i bought a new one (Haxorware) i just put the mac from my old modem on to the new one and forced a 50 config and its all working fine. But heres the problem. my LEGAL torrents still download fine but they are not uploading (seeding). i am sure ports are open, i am using a router and ports are open on that too. peers connect and then just get disconnected. i have no idea why and can not seem to fix it (been trying for last hour lol). So i'm thinkign it's something to do with my modem so If any one has any advice that would be great Thanks |

Your either not fully connectable or the peers that are on the torrents are just unable to connect to you. I don't see how it could be a modem problem especially when it downloads.

yeah its strange i just tryed without router so modem was directly connected and it still wasnt working also i just autoserve to try fix it instead of forcing but that didnt help. its it better to autoserve or force anyway as both work for me

Autoserve is better. Torrent problem is not modem related, you probably need to reset your firewall.
cheers, fitz |

Your just not connectable to the peers doesn't mean you have a problem. If u say the port is open and u can download the torrents everything should be fine. If the torrents you are seeding only have a few leecher it doesn't mean u will connect to them all if any.
