Eurovox EX7000 HD+ New Software Release Now Available

Just to let you know that the new Eurovox EX7000 HD+ software is now available.

I have not been given a breakdown of the fixes.

The most important one that concerned all was the low signal reading.

I am scanning my receiver now & the strength is reading 96% & the quality is ready 79%.

79% is a damn improvement considering this receiver is upstairs & connected to a 4-way splitter.

Will add more improvements as i see them.

When you press the OK button to bring up the channel list. The P+ & P- buttons changes the list quite rapidly.

Also if you are watching a specific channel & press the UP or DOWN button to switch channels. This is quite rapid also.

The remote control command processing speed has been improved alot.

This should re-solve alot of firmware issues that the EX7000 has it should also interest alot more people to purchase it since most problems have been resolved.

One other improvement i have seen is that when you are watching a specific channel, if you press the EXIT button, it tells you whats coming on next. It list around 4/5 channels that are due to broadcast.

I think this improvement was suggested by a techwatch member.

A star as usual. Has the new firmware fixed the issues with the favourites and the recording issue where it does not show what you recorded just the channel

sadly not yet, only thing which has been fixed is the signal strength. which still has problems for me, if i try to watch the channel it wont work on a certain frequency, but when i rescan the frequency and watch the channel it will work, untill i change channel again then i have to repeat the whole process over again, but its an improvement! these things take time.

Another thing about the firmware, your old channel file wont work, you will need to create a new one as the new firmware has problems with the old channel file and shows the same channel multiple times, and you cant get rid of it.
