I have tried both , only the eurovox ex7000 had bit better quality else I recoment KV .

Also If things keep on going same way ... then there will be blank screen on all eurovox in U.K as well soon , so all eurovox will have best picture quality of blank screens .

If things keep on going the same way as what? Most of this thread is discussing the changes in Ireland, not the UK.

There is no indication of any major changes in the UK any time soon

Any guys, im new here... im looking into buying a receiver for the 1st time for mainly sports, pay per view events etc
someone has recommended this box to me but i didnt know this even existed as in my friends either have starview or eurovox.... i have read this thread and i can say it mainly relates to Ireland Users.... im from Preston, Lancashire, england... would this box would be in better working order than starview 4 and eurovox? like i say i need it for sports... sky sports, setanta (if they dnt go bust), lfc tv....

cheers

Personally I would say go for it, I prefer this box over the others. Im sure you wont be dissapointed. Its a good, easy, user friendly box with good support.

Regards

Firmware updates always seem to be quickest for the Kryptview. I have them back in stock today

Mine turned up today from the MAIN MAN lincsat & its a FANTASTIC box!!..

Does EXACTLY what it says on the tin & i like the idea how you dont lose channels & have to keep re-scanning as you do with the eurovox!!..

CRACKIN piece of kit,BEST plug & play..
Im a KRYPTVIEW man now..

Received mine from Lincsat yesterday also, great service and very easy to set up even came with a users manual, my last box from another supplier didn't.

The Kryptview (no booster) is far superior to my Eurovox (with a booster) in picking up weaker quality signals due to splits. Only downside seems to be the poor response from the remote control, my thumb hurts. I think I saw somewhere that the KV 700 remote works with the KV 750 and is more responsive so I think I will get one of these.
