Only thing I saw though was post dump, but from memory that Ethernet Mac looks about right.

ok, so i'm presuming that windows did connect to it? if he'd changed the ip of the modem, (i know its acedemic now) would windows (or dos) have told us what that ip was by using ipconfig? without the router like.
the prob i've seen is that windows wont connect to modems after this ethernet mac has been changed. it connects when you change the nic card to .....100.10 this is with dhcp server enable too. changing the e mac to basic numbers and a's does sort it. i wonder if the isp can see this. if they can see the nic card/router mac.... i'm gonna chage them to the de ad default

I don't think they can see it with Haxorware using the stealth SNMP ports.
With modem IP changed to an unknown value I think the only way of getting access again would be using a ping sweep to locate it, and that would only work if the IP was within your NIC's subnet. cheers, fitz |

If it's on the same config (rts50) as lee-ds posted his speedtest of, it's something to do with your PC set up..not the modem.
Leave it alone bop!! lol ![]() cheers, fitz |

I can't remeber if mine even had DE:AD as part of it to start with. I only just noticed now after reading the above post that my enet is 00:10:18:DE:AD:02. (for mods it is NOT a HFC mac) BTW im trying to to get things up and running since i switched from infinite. I can access the Haxorware GUI page and everything fine. Cheers |
