my modem has locked me out, i can't get on to the haxorware page i was trying to get the 50meg working in the other thread. when i enter 192.168.100.1 it just says cant display page iv been trying for about 4 hours. Iv had to borrow my mums modem to get online.

Set your network card to use a manual IP of 192.168.100.10 and try again. Once you've fixed the settings, set it back to auto IP.

so when you changed you NIC address in vista from it's normal one to 192.168.100.10 subnet mask 255.255.255.0

When the modem rebooted what ip address is it showing? in you network connections...... it should be 192. blah blah......not starting with a 169..x.x..x.x. blah blah

By any chance did you change the Ethernet Mac address in the gui?

some 1 said something about address's conflicting in the modem thats why its locked me out, this is first time i have done anything like this
