Default possible problem with favourites it new ex7000 FW?

just updated to the newest firmware and it has messed up all my channels, so i set away readding all the channels to the favourites and realised it only adds a certain few, then it will start re-adding the channels again, so its displaying 2 of some channels even tho i havent put them in that order, has anyone else noticed this? or is it just me? bit reluctant to start another channel list up because it takes too long

I've also updated the firmware but the favourites have not improved at all. I can only store my selected files in groups 1 - 4, after that groups 5 - 8 either populate themselves or just do their own thing, never being quite the same when checked ??

One of the threads suggested downloading STBM which is a great little program for easily sorting and editing channel lists and allocating to favourite groups. So I uploaded the channel file to my USB, edited using STBM on my PC then downloaded the results to my EX7000. All the lists were sorted beautifully but not one channel worked - no signal. I've tried this a few times now and each time the file edited in STBM produces the same result, none of the channels worked so I had to download the origial, unedited file.

Has anyone else had this problem??? Am I doing something wrong or is my copy of STBM suspect ??

best off using the eurovox itself to sort your favourites in my opinion, less hassle. you cant port your channel file from the older revision firmware, as it conflicts with the new firmware and causes problems like duplicate channels, i had to make a whole new favourites to solve the problem, took me a few hours, its in the CDF file sticky at the top of the forum

You'd think they'd test these things before releasing them wouldn't you.

It worked for me with no problem, I didn't bother setting favourites with it though, just put the channels in my prefered order.. entertainment, discoverys/docu, sports, films, kids... survived the firmware change aswell.

its probably not the finished product yet, maybe they released this to help the people having signal problems? might release a final version in a few months or so

I set up the Favourites on my EX7000 no problems at all now. Be careful if you press the filter button and change the sort order to ABC, the order of your favourites will be messed up!
But my box has locked up 5 times now since flashing the new software, happens when im browsing through channels in the menu and have to power off and reboot!
Pity theres still no info about the programmes on the channels you are browsing like there was on the older boxes. Hope this will be fixed at some point !
