Default "please insert smart card"

Hi,

Searched around, but haven't seen any questions/solutions about this. Currently receiving this message "PLEASE INSERT SMART CARD" on a certain Champs Lge own station, plus 2 Adult themed channels, ahem !!

No others affected. Tried a scan, no luck. Any ideas ?

I'm in Dublin, on N Tea Hell.

Thanks in Advance.

Obviously I don't look at these disgusting channels, the football ones, but here's a list of frequencies working for me if you want to check yours against them.

Try doing a factory Reset and Re-scan and see if them channels come back. Also what model is your eurovox? And what firmware do you have on it?

Hi mate,

Not a cable guy or from ireland but keeping an eye on a thread on another forum and I beleive these channels have got to nagra 3, bye bye.

(MUTV, Adult and Playboy) all seem gone, still working in some areas though.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So they use nagra 3 sometimes and change back when they feel like it?

Wow don't shoot the messenger. Only reading from another forum. Has not the card change taken place in dublin and someother places. It reads that they are starting to turn off the channels slowly. Just exactly what happended with satellite. And no they would not just turn the channels on and off unless there was a major issue of subbed box's going down as well. They did this with polsat as they had issues. But they all went eventually.

Yes they have and as usual start of with the least subscribed packages. Could be a trial but I doubt it as the 1800 stream is gone from these channels.

Its a logical route when changing encryption.

Thanks satsmo, thats what I read. I was unsure whether the 1800 stream was the supplier caid for dublin ect. But just like on sat with sly a new stream or streams have appeared which we suspect is getting ready for the imminent card change.

1800 is N1, they had N1 and N2 present as multicrypt for a very long time. N3 was introduced a few months back, but it is only starting to be implemented after some subscriber card changes.
