Default TB not cut on modified box

I've got a mondified box, well I guess it isn't really modified, as the talkback not been cut.
I've not been stupid enough to use the on demand, an I'm not going to.
So, will it be ok to leave TB enabled?
Reason I want to do this, is so I can just use a dreamcard, and the original VM card can be used to make it into a normal box. Its not subbed BTW.

Maybe you should re read what I have said before jumping the gun.

I've not been stupid enough to use the on demand, an I'm not going to.

Nothing to do with being greedy. I pay for my on demand.
So if you have got a proper answer to my question, go ahead. If not, go away.

You don't have to use on demand to get in trouble. The box 'phones home' (callback) on specific dates and times. Everyone says to cut TB for a reason, not for fun.

Cheers, fitz.

A while ago there was an issue where TB had to be reconnected for a short period to download some software which enabled sky movies....and anything else which required a pin box.

This isn't required any more, so there's no real reason for fitting a TB switch.

cheers, fitz.
