Default ID a funcard

Just wondering how I would ID a funcard if anyone has any ideas? I found a couple of funcards knocking about from about 4 years ago, so I'm assuming they'll not be up to spec for running the latest files, but wondered if there was any way of checking them.

Plus your funcard probably says on it which vers it is.
Nothing much has changed over the last couple of years so it'll probably be fine.

cheers, fitz

Cheers for those answers, I'll have a crack at making something useable out of it tonight. I suppose I should have just tried anyway, but I'd end up tearing my (remaining) hair out when I couldn't get make a card out of something that's not fit for purpose.

D to the P.

Can anyone reccomend any good software for use with my programmer, it's a generic Phoenix progger (a Clanzers one), MultiProg claims "No programmer found" so I'm looking for something that will support my old progger on a 232 connection.

You won't be able to write Funcards using that mate. You program original cards with that, most people use Nagra Edit.

Are you sure? I've programmed funcards with it before (a long time ago). It may have been my other programmer (a Zeus) I did funcards with, but I'm sure the zeus was from the OnDigital days.

This one definately wrote funcards, in fact it almost certainly wrote the image on the funcard it now won't read in Nagra!

I can't find any software or support for it anyway, so it looks like I'm getting a new progger! What would you recommend (must have 232 comms!).
