Hello all
Thought I'd post a few piccies. Very pleased with this setup. Got a sky dish on the side of the house anyway, so this is just a toy for the footy... ![]() It had to be a neat install - as grief was gotten before it even went up. So a small dish and cut down brackets were used. I think it looks really neat - especially with all the cables running down the inside of the garage and in to the house! A bit of an odd one with the last pic... we were not picking up certain sat's, but seemed to be close. So I went and just nudged the bottom of the dish outwards by a few mm. It immediatley picked up a much stronger signal, and locked onto a few new sats. So obviously we tried altering the whole dish, but that did not increase the signal any. So getting the strongest signal possible then fitting the piece of plastic below to nudge the bottom of the dish was the only way we could get certain sats. Pretty impressed with the amount I can get for a small dish. BIG thanks to Rick for all the help and ladder climbing.

Thanks all.
It picks up 53e to 15w. The brackets cut down to 6" do actually allow it to swing to 30w, but the house roof blocks the line of sight on this one! We originally had it on the side of the house, where it easily picked up 30w, but moved it to the back instead! It gets 16e and 26e too ![]() Yep - dish is quite high on the pole (I assume this is what you mean). This was in an attempt to clear the roofline for 30w. Might drop it back down a bit at some point. Its already been up and down 3 times now, so happy to leave it at the mo (for fear of Rick1980 who installed it throwing something heavy at me!)

I was impressed with how compact your install looks and with the pics shown maybe able to swing this past the other half. Can I ask where you are based and which satellites you can reliably pickup. I am based in Leeds. I probably need an 80cm dish but am hoping this might do the trick. Cheers. |

I helped D-sat with the setup. We got watchable signals from 15w,8w,1w,5e,9e,13e,16e(strong tp's only)19e,23.5e,26e(strong tp's only) 28e and a few others past. For the size of the dish I was very impressed with how it performed.
