Default modem bucket o p**h
hey guys got a 20mb i pay for from v and a cloned one ... tryed both and can only download from newsgroups at 2.34 mb any one got any ideas ?

You're a bucket o poo. Bits/8=bytes. 20Mbit/s = 2.5Mbyte/s theoretical.

Max I've ever had out of 20mb is 2mb down speed as fitz points out above that the max speed you can get from 20mb.

Thats about right.

Internet speeds are advertised in megabits (mb), not megabytes (mB), undortunately.

20 megabytes per second would be like, 180mbps.
