Puzzled, nothing seems to be in the way, i get 53East all sats East to West line up nice - but nothing is picked up after 30W anyone got any ideas??????????

Maybe you are not on an active transponder when you move the dish?

i use usals so i try to scan the whole tp, get nothing?

Check your arc, by sending to 30W, pick a valid transponder, then with your hands flex the dish up/down and east/west and see if you can get a signal.

i get 30W, it's from there onwards the problems come... all sats line up from 53e to 30w, guess i'm not missing much but it's a bit annoying that's for sure!

Try 45W instead then. I didn't have that satellite in my list as I had no view of 45W, but I have moved my dish and I have now.
I have just tried a transponder 11510H, and getting a very strong signal, on CCTV 4. Kids cartoons in Chinese.

Thanks robbo for the effort i've just been out and had a look must be the neighbouring houses, i'd have thought the signal would have come in a bit steeper but i'm in a dip that's all i can think of i'll post a pic see wot u think....

Yes, I think the apex of the roof in the direction the dish is pointing is in the way. 45W is going to be fairly low in the sky, less than 20 degrees I would have thought.
