Default v///m analogue signal

does anyone know if v//m are still providing a analogue signal (bristol area), my dad has an old t//w chipped box and thinks he is still receiving an analogue signal though he now has broadband and both feeds come out the same box would he have been updated to digital when the broadband went in or could they run analogue and digital through the same box.he does'nt know if he has to update to a digital signal or not befor the big switchover......

Sorry misread post.
On my old analogue box they cancelled the Movies and said I would have to update to digital to get them,so as he has Movies he must be on digital.

Hope this helps.
