Default What do I need to buy?

I'm going to order a eurovox ex1000sl off lincsat but I just need to know what I have to buy altogether. Is there a splitter and aerial cable included in the box or do I need to buy the seperate? And do I need to buy the eurovox to computer cable for updates in the future? Is there anything else you would recommend? And will the eurovox work out of the box with no software or anything being put on? Any help would be appreciated

We've already answered all this for you but here goes again
1 eurovox 1000.
2.2 or 3 way splitter which should include some small cables.
3. rs232 cable.
4.cable amount depends how far your box is going to be from yer main feed.be safe and buy a 5 metre cable.
5.will the eurovox work out the box? Yes
all available from yer man.thats all you'll need and you'll be up and running

Dont worry m8.you ask away, nobody wants you to throw yer money away on somats you dont understand. And while we're at it i think you might be better off getting a Kryptview A750 from Lincsat.there a bit more user friendly than the eurovox IMO

Heh, all friendly banter there chrissy.

Its good to ask, you will only learn by asking the right questions, so as mark said, do ask away.

You should let us know what your intentions are, i mean, are you just wanting to get tv?

You may find, as mentioned by mark, there is a more user friendly option available to you, whats important here is what you would feel confident doing.

There are plenty of options, and if you are willing to put a little time into it to read/search etc, the most reliable option imo is with a modded original box and card - i have done several of these, and they still work without issue even now.

Provided i didn't mess them up, they won't need any work till end of October when my rights dates should expire, which will mean a quick insertion of the card into my programmer and edit the dates, save and write to card and bang, another year of fun with the box!

Basically, what would you be willing to learn.. Because £110 is a fair wad, and to be honest whatever option you go for, its more than enough for what you will need.

I recommended the Kryptview in another thread to you because

1.Better picture quality and true 16:9 ratio
2.Channel mapping eg channels arranged same as v1rgin,on the eurovox you will have to arrange them all yourself which can be a right pain for a newbie
3.Better/faster support if and when theres a change in the keyroll method the kryptview team are always first to release the fix
