I tried updating the config file in my sb4100 to a 50mb one that was recommended to me a while back but couldn't get it to work on any of the tftps that are available. I was getting downstream, upstream, time of day etc but the config file was failing. I've reverted to 20mb but I was wondering if a 4100 is capable of 50mb speeds?

Fraid not - if you're getting 20meg out of a 4100 then count your blessings.
